Poll: Does Facebook give good health Council?

If you ask specialist Harvard health, William Shrank, called the "Wild West" Facebook when it comes to health information.

It is because of the study team on the social networking site popular revealed that several health recommendations came from those seeking FDA approved products and services.

Diabetes 15 related pages of Facebook, 27% of the comments were people promoting non-sanctioned FDA products or processes.

The Harvard team recommends the following.

"Policymakers should consider how to ensure the transparency of its promotional and patients can request developed and patrolled by health care professionals to promote the exchange of accurate information and non-biased social networking sites"

I recognize that there are people on Facebook, trying to take advantage of people to make a buck, but I also find fault with the notion that only professionals FDA and Heather were accurate and non-biased information.

How many times the FDA has wrong? how can the amount of countless of anecdotal be ignored that demonstrates the effectiveness of non-FDA or treatments approved medical profession?

This really shows the attitude "we better and smarter than you", some universities seem to be, especially in front of those who think that outside of the box when it comes to food, health and fitness.
